Ordering & pricing
How do I get a price?
Most products on EPFINDER show a live unit price in AED. For project quantities, custom configurations, or items shown as “request quote”, click the Request Quote button on the product page or use the Upload BOM tool. A sales engineer will respond within one business hour during UAE trading hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer (AED, USD, EUR), cheque (UAE-issued), corporate credit card, and approved-account terms for established trade customers. Smaller online orders can be paid by card directly through the checkout. All prices exclude 5% UAE VAT unless explicitly noted.
Are your prices negotiable?
Listed unit prices are firm for in-stock items at single-piece quantity. Project quantities, ongoing supply agreements, and consolidated panel-builder packages are individually quoted and almost always carry a discount over list — submit a BOM to see the project price.
Stock & lead times
Are items shown as “in stock” really available?
Yes. EPFINDER stock counts are tied to our Dubai warehouse inventory system and refreshed continuously. If an item shows “in stock”, it is physically on the shelf and can leave the warehouse the same business day on confirmed orders received before 14:00 GST.
What if my part isn’t in stock?
Two outcomes: (1) we will offer an in-stock equal-or-higher-rated alternative in the same family and brand, or (2) we will quote a lead time for a manufacturer-direct or partner-distributor order. Lead times for non-stocked items typically range from 1 to 6 weeks depending on origin (Germany, China, India, USA).
Do you accept partial dispatches?
By default we hold orders until complete to minimise shipping cost. On request we will dispatch ready lines immediately and back-order the balance — there is no extra charge for split shipments within the UAE.
Shipping & delivery
Where do you deliver?
Across the seven emirates of the UAE as standard, and to GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar) and East African markets (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda) on request with HS codes and shipping documentation included.
How fast is UAE delivery?
Dubai and Sharjah: same-day or next-day. Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Northern Emirates: 1–2 business days. We use our own dispatch fleet for inner-Dubai and trusted last-mile partners for the rest.
Can I collect from the warehouse?
Yes. Customer collection is available from our Dubai office (Al Maktoum D89 Street) during trading hours. Notify us at least 60 minutes ahead so the order is picked and waiting.
Products & specifications
Are the products genuine?
Yes — every product is sourced through manufacturer-authorised channels or first-tier UAE distributors with full traceability. We do not stock grey-market, refurbished or counterfeit components. Certificate of origin, mill test certificate, RoHS / CE / UL documentation available on request.
Can I get an equivalent from a different brand?
Yes, but only on explicit request. The default EPFINDER match logic prefers to offer the same brand’s higher-rated stock alternative first. If you ask for a cross-brand equivalent (e0 g. ABB → Weidmuller), the system returns technically-comparable alternatives ranked by closest electrical specification.
Do you stock products certified for DEWA / ADDC / SEWA / FEWA / Etihad WE projects?
Yes — items routinely written into UAE utility specifications (LV switchgear, MCCBs, surge protection, metering, distribution boards) are stocked or sourced. Specify the utility approval requirement at quote stage and we will confirm the part-number is on the latest material list.
Returns & warranty
What is your warranty?
We pass on the full manufacturer warranty (typically 12 – 24 months depending on brand/product category). EPFINDER handles the warranty claim on your behalf — return the item with the original invoice and we will replace or refund per the manufacturer’s terms.
Can I return an unused item?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided the packaging is unopened and undamaged. A 10% restocking fee applies on non-stock special-order items. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.
Account & technical
Do I need an account to order?
No — small orders can be placed as a guest. For ongoing supply we recommend opening a corporate account: it unlocks saved BOMs, order history, quote-versioning, multi-user access for procurement teams, and project-pricing visibility.
Can EPFINDER integrate with my procurement system (SAP, Oracle, Coupa)?
Yes — punch-out catalogues and CSV/API price-list feeds are available for corporate accounts on request.
